I know I know I have not gotten into a good habit about posting, so how am I ever going to have a fantastic blog? Meh I will figure out a way.
More importantly… anyone else frustrated with WordPress? I feel like 7 out of 10 times I open it up, my reader will never load so I miss out on reading and discovering some great blogs out there. Plus if I can’t read your blog how is someone going to read mine? Anyone else out there thinking about switching or have already made the switch to an alternative hosting site?
Noooo the weekend is pretty much over!! Boooooooo
Anyway my last post was about my frustration over procrastination. I had quite a productive weekend, mostly doing house and garden work.
I just wanted to give you a quick update on my tomatoes since they are making me so happy!
I made me new garden box earlier this spring and it has filled out with my roma’s and basil (a couple marigolds are also thrown in for good measure.)
We had a wee problem with groundhogs earlier in the season but luckily 6 of them have found new homes and I haven’t had any issues since. I came out one morning to find the tomatoes chomped right down (I guess it could have been a deer too) but they have certainly bounced back, so far it looks like on one of my 4 plants I will have at least 50 tomatoes!
I will have to share my bean progress soon too. How is your garden growing?
Hello, I am a procrastinator. I admit it. I have tried for years to be better about time management and organization but I understand now that approach does not work for me. I like to think I am a daydreamer and I am always “doing something” however it seems like I end up researching the proper ways of doing something more that actually doing it… which is kind of what I am doing now too.
I envy my husband, he has the ability to make a to-do list and actually get it done on time. He doesn’t understand the way I work and I guess I really don’t understand the way he works. If I could I would “just do it.” But alas I may get very excited about a project and I will put up imaginary walls that I must overcome before I get to it.
I would like to say, “Today is the day, I am starting over with a fresh new attitude and approach.” However today is the day that I asking for help, any other procrastinators out there? Has anything helped you?
I was a faithful Project Runway watcher for the first couple of seasons and on occasion will catch a new episode here and there. I don’t know about you but sometimes the drama is just a little too much, I would like to see more construction and less cattiness.
Thankfully the Brits have answered my plea! I have just stumbled upon “The Great British Sewing Bee” – you can catch it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19Fq_X_xngU
They are on the search to find the greatest home sewer. The first episode has 3 challenges so there isn’t quite as much pressure as on Runway. The best part is that the judges also take on a teacher role to the contestants, host and us the viewers. They will show exactly what they see is wrong (or right) and explain the why and how of what happened and what to do to prevent it for next time. We even got a history lesson in the first episode, now that is my kind of game show.
